COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- The No. 14 Old Dominion field hockey team (6-4, 2-1 BIG EAST) will head to College Park Tuesday for a 5 p.m. showdown against eighth-ranked Maryland (8-3, 3-1 Big Ten).

The Lady Monarchs split games last weekend, pulling out a come-from-behind 2-1 OT victory over BIG EAST foe Liberty on Friday evening before falling to No. 12 Virginia, 2-0, Sunday in Charlottesville.

Danielle Grega leads the Lady Monarchs in scoring with five goals and one assist, while freshman Erin Huffman and senior Casey Dolan have each notched four goals apiece. Senior Megan Byas, who scored both of the Old Dominion goals in Friday's victory over Liberty, has now totaled four goals on the season as well.

The No. 8 Maryland Terrapins enter Tuesday's mid-week matchup after defeating ninth-ranked Michigan in a 3-2 OT nailbiter on Friday. Before losing to then-No. 11 Northwestern, 3-2, on Sept. 25, the Terrapins had been on a six-game winning streak that included victories over top-20 teams Iowa, Princeton and Boston College.

Grace Balsdon and Welma Luus lead Maryland in scoring with 22 points, as Balsdon, the Big Ten Defenseive Player of the Week on Sept. 27, has racked up 10 goals and two assists, while Luus has nine goals and four assists to her credit.
