NORFOLK, Va. – The men’s soccer team travels to Lexington, Ky. to play the 20th ranked Kentucky Wildcats on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m., the first of six-straight Conference USA matches.

The match-up will be broadcast on two online streaming websites including CUSA-TV and WatchESPN.com. Live stats will also be available for fans to follow by clicking HERE.

The Monarchs had an extended rest period thanks to Hurricane Matthew that postponed two matches (FAU-10/7 and Campbell-10/11). Old Dominion last played two weeks ago at Coastal Carolina on Oct. 1 in Conway, S.C.

Niko Klosterhalfen, Jesse Miralrio and Doni Pollock have tallied two goals each and lead the Monarchs scoring front. Sebastien Hauret still holds the team high in assists and points with four and six respectively.

Alex Tiesenhausen, Old Dominion’s redshirt senior goalkeeper, is just four saves away from tying the program career save record of 206 saves set by Joey Mallia (1987-1990). He holds a .754 save percentage with 43 saves on the season and a 1.57 goals against average.

No. 20 Kentucky goes into the match with a weeks rest after being upset by the Blazers of UAB 2-1 on Saturday, Oct. 8, in Birmingham, Ala.

Napo Matsoso leads the No. 20 Wildcats’ offense with a team high 12 points on four goals and four assists. Noah Hutchins has three goals for six points on only nine shots while Charlie Reymann has six points off six assists.

Solidifying the defensive line is junior goalkeeper, Stuart Ford, who has collected six shutouts to date this season. In his 1153:32 minutes in net this season he has allowed just eight goals for a 0.62 goals against average and collected 32 saves for a .800 save percentage.

The Monarchs resume action when they return to the ODU Soccer Complex on Saturday, Oct. 22. ODU hosts South Carolina for a 7 p.m. Conference USA match-up. The match is the first game back in Norfolk since Sept. 17 vs. then ranked No. 9 Charlotte.
