NORFOLK, Va. -- Following a four-game home stand, the Old Dominion women's lacrosse team returns to the road for a matchup with William & Mary on Thursday at 12 p.m. at Martin Family Stadium.

A live video stream and live scoring will be available to fans, as well as a live in-game Twitter updates via @ODULacrosse.

Old Dominion (4-1) is coming off of a come-from-behind 12-8 victory over Liberty on Saturday. The Lady Monarchs trailed 6-4 at halftime, but ended the game on a five-goal run to pull out the comeback victory. Ashmore Standing and Morgan Marrale paced ODU in that contest, combining for eight goals.

Overall, Standing leads the Lady Monarchs in scoring with 19 points on 16 goals and three assists. Marrale is second with 12 points and Connor Carson is third with 10 points. Defensively, Maggi Buckley has played all but one minute in net, posting a 10.45 goals against average and a total of 51 saves. Senior defender Morgan Gallagher leads the team in caused turnovers with 10.

The Lady Monarchs lead the Atlantic Sun in six different statistical categories, including scoring offense (11.00), scoring defense (10.40) and caused turnovers per game (11.40). Individually, Standing leads the A-Sun in goals (16) and points (19), while Marrale leads in assists (6). Buckley leads the A-Sun in goals against average (10.45) and ranks second in the conference and 11th in the NCAA in saves (51).

In the latest MidMajor Lax Top 25, Old Dominion is ranked 25th, while William & Mary is receiving votes. 

William & Mary (2-3) enters Thursday on a two-game losing skid, falling to No. 7 Virginia and Winthrop last week. The Tribe's two victories have come over Oregon, 15-14, and Gardner-Webb, 19-3, while their third loss came at the hands of No. 1 Maryland. Shannon Quinn leads the team with 12 goals, while Danielle Palmucci is second in scoring with 10 points, including eight assists.

SERIES HISTORY
This will be the 45th all-time meeting between Old Dominion and William & Mary. The Tribe leads the series, 32-12. The teams played last year in Norfolk, with the Tribe winning 15-9. The long-time CAA rivals first met in 1980.

WEEKLY HONORS
For the third consecutive week, a Lady Monarch has been named an Atlantic Sun Player of the Week. On Tuesday, the conference announced Connor Carson was named Defensive Player of the Week. The award is Carson's second of the year, after she was named Player of the Week two weeks ago. Last week, Maggi Buckley was named Co-Defensive Player of the Week.

'STANDING' OUT
Senior Ashmore Standing is currently 8th all-time in ODU history in career goals (123) and and points (155). 2015 ODU Sports Hall of Fame inductee and three-time All-American Suzanne Wosczyna holds the school record in both categories (206 goals, 325 points).

MIDMAJOR LAX POLL
Old Dominion is ranked 25th in the latest MidMajor Lax Top 25. Prior to this week's rankings, the Lady Monarchs had just been receiving votes. The poll ranks the top 25 midmajor teams in the country.

PRESEASON ALL-CONFERENCE
A total of four Lady Monarchs were named to the preaseason All-Atlantic Sun team, voted on by the coaches. Goalkeeper Maggi Buckley, defender Morgan Gallagher, midfielder Connor Carson and attacker Ashmore Standingall earned the honor. Defender Missy Koscinski and attacker Morgan Marrale were both named to the preseason watch list. As a team, ODU was selected to finish second behind reigning champ Jacksonville.
