CHARLESTON, S.C. – The No. 40 Old Dominion men’s tennis team (12-3) will put its 10-match win streak on the line against the College of Charleston (8-3) on Saturday, March 12 at noon at the CofC Tennis Center at Patriots Point in Mt. Pleasant, S.C.
Old Dominion’s last loss came all the way back on Jan. 31st at No. 50 Penn State by a 5-2 score.
Each of the three doubles tandems have winning records thus far, highlighted by Rodrigo Encinas and Juan Estevarena’s outstanding record of 8-2 at the No. 1 doubles spot. Seniors Charlie Ghrisky and Zack Lewis have amassed a record of 4-4 at the No. 2 doubles, and Vasily Kichigin and Josh Record have won five of their six matches at the No. 3 doubles.
The singles flights, Estevarena leads Charleston in wins with eight, at the No. 1 singles position. Rodrigo Encinas (5-4), Ryan Khan (5-2) and Garrett Gordon (3-2) have also secured winning records in singles competition this season as well.
