NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion women's lacrosse team hosts the Campbell Fighting Camels on Saturday, Feb. 20, at 1 p.m. for the 2016 home opener. Admission is free for all fans.

Old Dominion (1-0) is coming off of a 14-13 victory at Longwood on Wednesday. Ashmore Standing led the Lady Monarchs with four goals, while Morgan Marrale tallied two goals and two assists and Connor Carson added two goals and an assist. Maggi Buckley earned the win in net, tallying five saves.
Campbell (0-1) opened its season two weeks, falling to No. 4 Duke, 20-4. Kayla Reilly led the Camels with one goal and two assists in that game. Last year, Campbell compiled a 5-13 record in just its third season in program history. All five leading scorers from last season return to this year's squad.
SERIES HISTORY
ODU leads the all-time series, 1-0, after defeating Campbell, 18-12, last year. Connor Carson and Mary Margaret McCaleb each netted three goals in that contest, while Ashmore Standing added two goals and three assists.
TEAM CAPTAINS
Morgan Gallagher and Connor Carson have been named team captains for this week. ODU will have weekly team captains for the 2016 season. Captains are named on each Monday and the honor is given to those who have been leaders for the program both on and off the field.
