ATHENS, Ga. - The No. 57 Old Dominion women’s tennis team will be looking to bounce back from their season opening loss to No. 37 Florida State, when the Lady Tennis Monarchs take on No. 65 Tulane at 9:00 a.m. at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex. That match is part of the ITA Kick-Off Weekend, which is hosted by No. 4 Georgia and will also bring in No. 74 Wyoming as a part of a four-team tournament.
The weekend's action is part of the 2016 ITA Kick-Off Weekend, and the winner of the four-team tournament will receive a berth into the ITA National Team Indoor Championships in Madison, Wisc. from Feb. 5-8.
The winners of Friday’s matches will return on Sunday Jan. 24 at 1:00 p.m. for a ticket to the ITA National Team Indoor Championships. The losers of Friday’s matches will compete in a consolation match on Saturday Jan. 23 at 5:00 p.m.
Sixty women’s tennis programs will be competing in the eighth annual ITA Kickoff Weekend across the country this weekend. In order to qualify for the tournament teams need to have finished the previous season ranked within the top 75. These sixty schools are competing for the remaining 15 bids to play in the prestigious National Indoor Championships, which will be hosted by the University of Wisconsin Feb. 5-8.

Sunday, Jan. 24
1:00 p.m.: The two winners from Friday’s matches will play each other
