NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University men’s basketball head coach Jeff Jones announced today that redshirt junior Ambrose Mosley has been dismissed from the program for team rules violations.
Mosley, a 6’2 guard, was suspended for the first three contests of this season also for team rules violations. Since returning, Mosley had played in every game averaging 3.4 points and 4.2 rebounds per contest. Last season, Mosley proved to be a productive contributor off the bench averaging 7.1 points to go along with 2.0 boards per game.
“We are extremely disappointed that Ambrose will no longer be a part of our team,” said Jeff Jones. “He was a well-liked and valued member of our basketball family. We wish Ambrose the very best in all of his future endeavors."
The ODU men’s basketball team is currently in Atlanta preparing to play Georgia State on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. The game can be seen on ESPN 3.
