IRVING, Texas - In its first ever Conference USA Tournament, No. 6 seeded Old Dominion (7-11-1, 5-4-1 C-USA) will take on No. 3 seeded Florida Atlantic (12-7-1, 6-3-1 C-USA) in the Quarterfinals of the 2015 C-USA Tournament at 7:00 p.m. EST on Wed., Nov. 4. These two squads did not meet earlier this season.
All four quarterfinal matches and both semifinal games will be streamed on the C-USA Digital Network. The championship match is set for Sunday, Nov. 8 at 11 a.m. EST and will be aired live on Fox Sports Networks.
Regular-season champion North Texas earned the No. 1 seed in the 2015 Conference USA Women’s Soccer Championship hosted by FIU Nov. 4-8 in Miami. The eight-team championship field was set Friday, but the bracket has been finalized following a 1-1 double-overtime draw between Middle Tennessee and Old Dominion Sunday. The winner of the C-USA Championship will earn the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Women’s Soccer Tournament.
The 2015 Conference USA Women’s Soccer Championship kicks off Wednesday at the FIU Soccer Stadium in Miami. Florida Atlantic, Louisiana Tech, Marshall, Middle Tennessee, North Texas, Old Dominion, Rice and WKU are set to compete in the eight-team, three-day championship.
