To avoid being ticketed, all fans should park in the garage off of 43rd street (across Elkhorn Ave. from wrestling room).
Handicap parking is available in the designated spots in Lot 23 and Lot 10 around the gym. If there are no more left, use disability parking in the garage and come over to the Elkhorn door of the Jim Jarrett Building.
NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion wrestling team is set to host its annual Blue-Silver Intrasquad match on Wednesday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m. in the Jim Jarrett Athletic Administration Building Gym. The event is free for all fans to attend.
The annual Blue-Silver Intrasquad provides fans with an early glimpse of the team before the official competition slate begins. This year’s roster consists of 15 newcomers, including 13 freshman and two transfers, who will all be in action for the first time on Wednesday night for ODU.
The Monarchs open up their 2015-16 competition schedule this weekend, as some wrestlers will travel to Clarion, Pa. to compete in the Clarion Open on Sunday, Nov. 1. Also on Sunday, returning All-American Alexander Richardson will compete in the 50th Annual NWCA All-Star Classic in Atlanta at 5 p.m. Richardson, ranked No. 5 nationally by InterMat, will square off with Rider’s returning All-American BJ Clagon, who InterMat ranks No. 4. The event will be broadcast live on ESPNU.
Matchups for the Blue-Silver Intrasquad will be announced once they are finalized.
