NORFOLK, Va. – Passionate, dynamic, inspiring and coach of the Old Dominion women’s basketball team, Karen Barefoot is a master motivator, not only of teams, but also of individuals and organizations, encouraging them to succeed beyond even their own expectations. Barefoot can be seen speaking at a magnitude of events and every week ODUSports will highlight where she will bring her valuable insight and advice.
Barefoot is set to visit ADS, Inc. as a headline speaker for its “ADS SPARK Talks” on Friday, October 9 at noon. The event is expected to reach over 80 attendees and the premise for the event is “lighting the fire to inspire.” ADS believes that “development” goes beyond just expanding the skills you need to do your job. In striving for excellence, ADS wants to provide opportunities to expand thinking and inspire greatness, and Barefoot is just the speaker for the job.
These talks are designed to be enrichment opportunities for employees in all departments and at all levels. The event will offer a variety of subjects that will educate, motivate, and, hopefully, spark imaginations. Attendees will come away with real world ideas to better themselves and their career.
