NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion Univeristy athletics announced Thursday that voucher books for Monarch and Lady Monarch basketball for the 2015-16 season are now on sale. Each book contains 10 tickets to use at any home ODU basketball games during the regular season. Use them all at one game to bring family and friends, or spread them out over the season. The choice is yours!

The price is $50 for a women’s basketball voucher book or $120 for a men’s basketball voucher book. That's at least a $50 savings over purchasing at the ticket window. Plus the first 200 fans that purchase will get an ODU Under Armour Team Visor (see below). Purchase now at www.ynottix.com. Vouchers can be redeemed at the ticket box office upon purchase and up to game day. Tickets are based on availability at the time of redemption. Fans can assure a seat for every game by purchasing a season ticket.

Old Dominion men’s basketball is coming off a 27-8 season, which took them to Madison Square Garden as part of the NIT Semifinals. The Monarchs finished the 2014-15 regular season tied for second in Conference USA after compiling a 13-5 mark in the league. ODU went a perfect 20-0 at home a season ago, putting its current home winning streak at 24, which ranks seventh in the country. Old Dominion returns four of its six leading scorers from last year, including First Team ALL C-USA selection, Trey Freeman.

The Lady Monarchs went 21-13 overall during  the 2014-15 season and went a perfect 4-0 against in-state competition, taking down the likes of UVA, Virginia Tech, VCU and William & Mary. The Lady Monarchs advanced to their conference semi-finals for the first time since the 2009-10 season and went back to the WNIT, where the team advanced to the second round for the second consecutive year after taking down UVA in the first round. As a team, the Lady Monarchs led the C-USA in field-goal percentage defense (.377) and defensive rebounds per contest (29.0), while ranking second in the conference for rebounding margin (+3.1) and average attendance (2,623). Old Dominion will enter the 2015-16 season just three wins shy of reaching 1,000 all-time victories.
