MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Old Dominion men’s golf team finished in a tie for third place with Elon after day two of the Golfweek Program Challenge. The Monarchs shot 285 as a team which brings their combined score to 569 after the first two days of the three-day event.
Jacksonville is still clinging to first place with a score of 552, and Mercer currently possesses second place with a score of 566. Jacksonville’s David Wicks is also the individual tournament leader heading into the final day of competition, shooting 66, 68 (-10) thus far.
ODU’s Antonio Cruz Conde is tied for 9th place after shooting 71 on day one and 70 on day two, bringing him to a total score of 141. He has also achieved nine birdies to his credit. Newcomer Calvin Greschner will enter the final day of the tournament tied for 15th place with a score of 142.
