MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. – The Old Dominion men’s golf team wrapped up day one of the Golfweek Program Challenge at the True Blue Course tied for sixth place with Elon and Houston Baptist with a score of 286. Individually, newcomer Calvin Greschner shot 70 and is currently tied for 15th place.
Jacksonville leads the 18-team field after day one with a score of 272. James Madison sits in second place with 280 while Marshall rounds out the top three just two strokes behind with 282.
On the day, Antonio Cruz-Conde had five birdies for ODU. Thomas Henderson and Seth Sweet each had 13 pars while Greschner had 12.
The Monarchs will be back in action tomorrow for day two of the three-day event.
