NORFOLK, Va. -- The Old Dominion women's lacrosse team opened up its fall scrimmage schedule on Sunday with a pair of exhibitions at the L.R. Hill Sports Complex.
The rainy and windy conditions that had swamped the Norfolk area for the past few days finally eased up, creating a nice afternoon for some fall lacrosse action. In an entire day's worth of play, ODU, VCU, Longwood and Campbell all competed in the four-team competition. There was no official scoring for the matches.
The Lady Monarchs close out their fall schedule with a pair of road tournaments. On Oct. 3, the team will play in the High Point Tournament, followed by the Duke Tournament on Oct. 24.
