NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion wrestling season is fast approaching, and season ticket voucher books are now available for purchase. The package includes 12 admissions for $25, and the 12 tickets can be used for any of the six home events slated for the 2015-16 season.
The Monarchs, who enter the season as the preseason No. 16 team in the nation and return three All-Americans, will commence the home slate on Sunday, Dec. 13 at 7 p.m. when they battle North Carolina. UNC is the No. 12 preseason ranked team according to WIN and returns All-Americans Evan Henderson, who is ranked No. 1 at 141, and Ethan Ramos, who is No. 4 at 165.
In January, ODU will host Northern Iowa for its lone home dual meet of the month. In February, the Monarchs will take on Navy on Friday, Feb. 5 and will host a double-dual meet against Eastern Michigan and American on Sunday, Feb. 14. The Monarch wrestlers are scheduled to battle Northern Illinois on Friday, Feb. 19 and will close out the home dual schedule against Central Michigan on Sunday, Feb. 21 at a location to be determined.
