GRAND LAKE, Colo. – Five Old Dominion women’s lacrosse student-athletes were named to the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Associaton’s (IWLCA) 2015 Academic Honor Roll, the organization announced on Monday.
Seniors Morgan Gallagher, Karen Hayde and Abby Johansen along with juniors Rachel Shaw and Missy Koscinski were all recognized for their outstanding work in the classroom.
All student-athletes were nominated by their schools and have achieved at least junior status academically and had a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater. Read the IWLCA’s full release here.
The 2015 Monarch team was also one of only 87 Division I schools to be named an Academic Honor Squad by the IWLCA. Every school with a team GPA of 3.0 or higher earned Academic Squad honors. See all 87 schools that were recognized here.
