CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Old Dominion University women’s golf had a pair of student-athletes named Women’s Collegiate Golf All-American Scholars, the WGCA announced on Wednesday.
Freshmen Katerina Vlasinova and Maggie Simmermacher received the honors. A student-athlete must post a 3.5 GPA to earn the honor.
Vlasinova earned Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll recognition and also received an academic medal for a GPA of 3.75 or higher.
Simmermacher was also named to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
The women’s golf team had the highest team GPA of all ODU sports in 2014-2015.
