Switzerland – Old Dominion University women’s golf sophomore Katerina Vlasinova finished in a tie for third place in the Swiss International Amateur Championship on June 26–28. The 72-hole tournament was hosted by the Swiss Golf Association at Golfclub Breitenloo. Vlasinova opened the tournament on the par 72 course with 78 but came back strong in the second round making six birdies and an eagle, firing 66 to make the 36-hole cut. Vlasinova shot 73 in the third round while shooting 71 in the final round, including eight birdies. Vlasinova finished even par for the tournament and two strokes behind winner Morgane Metraux.
