What they are saying in Birmingham:UAB Men's Basketball Head Coach Jerod Haase
"This is big news for our program and for Conference USA. Last year, we saw what can happen when our school, our city and our fans rally around our team. Fans from around the league created an exciting environment for C-USA basketball last season, and I look forward to seeing that excitement from Blazer fans reach a new level in 2016."UAB Women's Basketball Head Coach Randy Norton
"We are extremely excited to host the Conference USA Championships again this year. The administration and staff did an outstanding job with the tournament last year, and I think that is a big reason why we are hosting it again. I felt like the Birmingham community came out and supported us, and I think we will see an even larger crowd this time around, which is great for our teams."UAB Director of Athletics Mark Ingram
"We are honored to serve as the host for the conference men's and women's basketball championships. We are proud to partner with the City of Birmingham in again playing host to this great event. Last season's championships were a tremendous success, and we look forward to the opportunity to showcase our city to our conference members and put on a first-class tournament next March."FOLLOW US, LIKE US
