NORFOLK, Va. – The No. 71 nationally ranked Old Dominion women’s tennis squad will put its current seven-match winning-streak on the line Friday against No. 48 Marshall at 3:00 p.m. at the Folkes-Stevens Tennis Center. Friday will mark Senior Day for Faith Atiso. There will be a FREE PIZZA GIVEAWAY for the first 100 fans in attendance for Friday's home match. The Lady Tennis Monarchs will travel to No. 62 William and Mary on Saturday, April 11, at 2:00 p.m.

The first 100 fans in attendance to Friday’s match will receive a voucher, which can be redeemed for free pizza after the completion of doubles/before singles begins at approximately 3:45 p.m.

The Lady Tennis Monarchs are 8-1 when playing on their home courts so far this season. These two upcoming matches against nationally ranked foes are the last two matches of the regular season. ODU will then travel to Houston, Texas for the Conference USA Championships on April 16-19.

No. 98 ranked Borislava Botusharova has a 15-1 overall record in singles play this season. Botusharova has won 13 matches in a row and has claimed victory in straight sets in 13 of her 15 wins.

Nikol Hristova has continued her stellar play, as she is 9-4 in singles play, has won four matches in a row and six out of her last seven.

Ingrid Vojcinakova is an impressive 13-4 for Old Dominion, and has also won six of her last seven matches, as well as 11 of her past 13, respectively.

Marijana Novakovic has been dominant all year for the Lady Monarchs, sporting a 15-2 overall mark, while she has won five consecutive and 10 of her last 11 matches.

Ivana Vukovic is currently on a six-match winning-streak, has won nine of her last 10 matches, while possessing a 11-4 record in singles action.

No. 48 Marshall enters Friday afternoon’s match with a 14-7 record, and is nationally ranked this week after not being ranked the past two weeks. The Thundering Herd is currently on a three-match winning-streak, with their past two victories coming against No. 38 DePaul (5-2) and No. 52 William and Mary (4-2).

No. 62 William and Mary enters the week with a 12-6 overall mark. The Tribe was ranked No. 52 last week, but after losses against No. 38 DePaul (3-4) and now No. 48 Marshall (2-4), they dropped 10 spots in the ITA Rankings this week.

W&M is led by No. 51 nationally ranked singles player, Leeza Nemchina. Nemchina pairs up with teammate Jeltje Loomans as the No. 45 ranked doubles tandem in the NCAA.
