IRVING, Texas - - Old Dominion freshman standout Maggie Simmermacher earns her third Conference USA Women's Golfer of the Week award after placing in the three-way tie for third in the River Landing Classic at the River Landing Golf Club (par 72/6,082 yards) in Wallace, North Carolina.

Simmermacher carded a 5-over 221 (70-73-78) to finish in a three-way tie for third place, and only five strokes back of the winner, in the River Landing Classic at the River Landing Golf Club (par 72/6,082 yards) in Wallace, North Carolina. The freshman standout led the field with 11 birdies, was fourth in par-4 scoring (4.10/+3) and seventh in par-3 scoring (3.00/E). Simmermacher registered 34 pars in the 54-hole event, her final tune-up before next week's C-USA Women's Golf Championship at Verandah Club in Fort Myers, Florida.
This is the third C-USA Golfer of the Week honor of Simmermacher's season (Oct. 15, April 1) and career.
