IRVING, Texas – ODU freshman MaggieSimmermacher was named C-USA Women's Golfer of the Week. She earned runner-up honors after shooting a 1-over 217 at the John Kirk/Panther Intercollegiate at the Eagle's Landing Country Club (par 72/6,164 yards). After opening with a 2-over 74, the freshman climbed up the standings with an even-par second round. Simmermacher then carded a 1-under 71 over the final 18 holes en route to her second-place finish. T
he Argentinian finished third in par-4 scoring (4.03/+1) as well as total birdies (21). Simmermacher also notched an eagle on the 13th hole par 5 (453 yards).
