Waipio, Hawaii – The Old Dominion University women’s tennis team was too much for Hawai'i Pacific, winning the match by a score of 6-1. With the victory, the Lady Tennis Monarchs advance its record to 8-4 on the season, while Hawai’i Pacific drops only its second match of the season, possessing an impressive 9-2 overall record.
No. 93 Borisla Botusharova (ODU) picked up another singles win by defeating Kristyna Hancarova (HPU) in straight sets 6-2, 6-2.
Nikol Hristova (ODU) took Hawai'i Pacific’s Nicole Hoynaski in a tight three-setter (6-4, 2-6, 10-6).
Also picking up a victory for Dom Manilla’s Lady Tennis Monarchs was sophomore, Ingrid Vojcinakova, who made quick work out of Vivian Hansen (HPU) 6-2, 6-2.
Adriana Rajkovic proved to be resilient in a marathon match against Lea Kruse-Utermann 4-6, 6-4, 13-11.
Ivana Vukovic got off to a hot start and never looked back against Sofia Tavitian (HPU) 6-0, 6-1.
Old Dominion also claimed the doubles point as the tandems ofMarijana Novakovic and Adriana Rajkovic, as well as Ingrid Vojcinakova and Ivana Vukovic picked up big wins.
