COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Old Dominion wrestling team will take part in their second Mid-American Conference tournament this Saturday and Sunday March 7-8, held on the campus of Missouri. The MAC Tournament will feature competition for the 33 automatic available spots to the NCAA Championship.

The MAC will be sending 33 wrestlers to the NCAA Wrestling Championships, including the 10 individual champions from the 2015 MAC Championship. This year, the MAC has been granted the third most automatic qualifiers in the country, including six berths at 197 and five at 149. The MAC received four berths at heavyweight and 165, along with three berths at 141, 157 and 174. The champion and runner-up at 125 and 184 will earn the automatic bid, while only the winner at 133 will make the trip to NCAA’s.
