Old Dominion junior guard Trey Freeman (Virginia Beach, VA.) claims his first C-USA Player of the Week award of the season. Freeman averaged 22.5 points in wins over Southern Miss and first-place Louisiana Tech. Middle Tennessee guard Giddy Potts also came up big in a pair of wins for the Blue Raiders to earn C-USA Freshman of the Week honors. Potts scored a career-best 28 points with eight three-pointers in a win over Marshall, then added a team-high 22 points in a victory over long-time rival WKU. Awards are chosen by a vote from a media panel representing the 14 member schools.
