NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University football opens spring practice on Tuesday, Mar. 3 and caps its 15 practices with its annual spring game on Saturday, April 11 at 3 p.m.
The Monarchs will practice three times before spring break and return on March 17 and host its first scrimmage of the spring on March 21 at Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium. ODU’s second scrimmage will be held on March 28 and the third scrimmage prior to the spring game will be on April 4. All scrimmages will be at Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium, free and open to the public. The scrimmages will begin at 2 p.m.
Old Dominion returns 15 starters from a year ago, including Conference USA Freshman of the Year, Ray Lawry. Lawry is one of eight starters returning on offense while the defense returns leading tacklers Martez Simpson and TJ Ricks.
