NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion University football seniors Josh Mann and Antonio Vaughan were named First-Team Phil Steele All-Conference USA while D.J. Simon, Taylor Heinicke, Ray Lawry and Zach Pascal were also honored on the team.

Mann and Vaughan received their second First-Team All-Conference selections of the postseason while Simon was named to the second-team and Heinicke, Lawry and Pascal were named to the third-team.

Vaughan led Conference USA with 1,019 receiving yards on a team-best 63 receptions and 12 touchdowns, which was tied for fourth in the country.

Mann was also named First-Team All-Conference USA by the league’s Head Coaches after starting all 12 games at center.  He helped the Monarchs average 442 yards per game and 32.7 points per game.

Simon led the Monarchs with 89 tackles and 12 tackles for loss in his first full season as the starting middle linebacker.

A four-year starter at quarterback, Heinicke ranks 11th in the country with 3,476 passing yards and is tied for ninth with 30 touchdown passes.  He completed 289-of-457 passes and also rushed for 139 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

The Conference USA Freshman of the Year, Lawry carried 134 times for 947 yards and 16 touchdowns.  He led all freshman running backs with 7.1 yards per carry and is tied for third with 16 touchdowns.  He also caught 17 passes for 155 yards.

Pascal finished second on the team with 59 receptions for 743 yards and seven touchdowns.
