NORFOLK, Va. – Old Dominion wrestler Tristan Warner moved five top-20 rankings after notching an unblemished 8-0 record throughout the month of November. The Wresting Monarchs are also ranked in the top-25 as a team in six different polls and seven different grapplers are ranked in their respective weight class.
The Monarchs are 2-2 in dual action on the season, highlighting the year with a win over No. 22 Purdue at the Northeast Duals. ODU also recorded its 30th program shutout by defeating LIU Post by a 48-0 margin. The Monarchs are back in action on Dec. 13 when they compete at the Cleveland State Open. The open will feature four nationally ranked teams, including No. 22 Kent State, No. 8 Michigan, No. 3 Ohio State and No. 20 Old Dominion.

Jeske remains in the top-20 in three outlets after he went 2-1 at the Northeast Duals this past weekend. He started off the day taking down Tyler Walsh from LIU Post via an 8-0 major decision. He then fell to No. 9 Tyler Cox from Wyoming by a narrow 10-9 decision, but bounced back to defeat Luke Welch of Purdue by a 7-5 decision.

Richardson went 1-1 at the Journeyman/ASICS Northeast Duals. He defeated Jake Elliot from Wyoming by a 2-1 decision, but fell to Alex Griffin from Purdue by an 8-1 decision. Richardson highlighted the month of November by winning the 149-pound weight class at the NC State Open.

He followed that performance with a 7-4 decision over No. 16 Benjamin Stroh from Wyoming, a returning NCAA qualifier. He capped the day with a 9-3 decision over Patrick Kissel of Purdue.

Beazley enters the week after going 1-2 at the Northeast Duals. He defeated James Louison from LIU Post by fall (1:28). He fell to Shane Woods from Wyoming by a narrow 4-2 decision and No. 8 Braden Atwood, a returning NCAA qualifier, by a slim 2-0 margin. So far all of Beazley’s dual losses have come by a margin of three points or less.
