CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Old Dominion University swimming and diving competed in the morning session on the second day of the Nike Cup on Friday, Nov. 21.
Vitor Sa led the way with a second place finish in the 200 free with a time of 1:38.09.
Jacob Zeidler took a sixth place finish in the 100 breaststroke in 55.54 while Reed Mathews timed in at 48.68 in the 100 fly.
On the boards, freshman Cory Moreno had a personal best on the 3-meter dive with a score of 239.55.
On the women’s side, Julia Vido had the best finish of the morning with a seventh place in the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.78.
Rachel Eckert was eighth in the 1-meter dive with a score of 271.20 while Colleen VandePoel took 13th in the 100 backstroke with a time of 55.88.
MacKenzie Payment rounded out the morning with a time of 56.21 to finish 19th in the 100 fly.
