NORFOLK, Va. – The Old Dominion wrestling team will welcome back all former Monarch wrestlers and friends of the program for a celebration of nearly 60 years of ODU wrestling. The alumni weekend will take place on Nov. 22-23, which coincides with the Missouri match.
Activities will begin on Saturday morning with an ODU wrestling practice, followed by a tailgate for the football game. After the tailgate, all are invited to head to Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium, where the football team will take on Louisiana Tech at 1:00 p.m.
Sunday will start with a ‘Wrestling Social’ in the Big Blue Room in the Ted Constant Center before No. 20 ODU takes on No. 7 Missouri at 1:00 p.m. All of the alumni present on Sunday will be honored during halftime of the match.
The cost of the weekend is $40, which includes the two social events, a ticket to the football game and a commemorative t-shirt.
