MYRTLE BEACH,SC-- Ashton Newsom, Seth Sweet and Jamison Randall are all in the top 10 and as a team, the Monarchs are in second place just two strokes behind the lead after two rounds of the Golfweek Program Challenge at the True Blue Golf Course.
Newsom shot 69 for the second straight day for a 36-hole score of 138 and is four strokes behind Franck Medale of Jacksonville and Bryce Howell of Furman, both at 134 for 36 holes.
Tied for ninth are Seth Sweet and Jamison Randall who are both at 139, five strokes back of the lead. Thomas Henderson and David Langley are at 142 and tied for 19th.
Jacksonville University (553) is two strokes ahead of ODU and four ahead of Valparaiso, who led the first round.
