MYRTLE BEACH, SC-- David Langley fired a 68 to help lead the ODU Monarchs to third place after 18 holes at the Golfweek Program Challenge being held at the Tru Blue Course. Langley is currently tied for third, just three strokes behind co leaders Jared Magoline of Valparaiso and Bryce Howell of Furman. Jamison Randall and Ashton Newsom are tied for eighth after shooting 69.
Valparaiso leads the team field by three strokes after shooting 273. Gardner-Webb is in second at 276, followed by the Monarchs at 277 and Jacksonville State is fourth at 279. a total of 12 teams are competing in the three-day event.
Langley had five pars on the day, while Newsom had four and Randall had three.
