WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, WV-- Four Monarchs finished in the top 20 to help lead ODU to a third place tie at the Greenbrier Collegiate Invite held at the Old White TPC.
Langley (70-74-75=219) finished with a 219 for 54 holes, while John Dawson (78-70-74=222) tied for 12th after shooting 74 in the final round. Jamis Randall (68-76-80=224) and Seth Sweet (73-72-79=224) tied for 18 and Ashton Newsom (75-75-75=225) tied for 22nd.
Jose Narro (70-67-69=206) of Bowling Green State won the invidvidual title by eight strokes over Logan Lagodich of Marshall.
As a team, ODU (286-291-303=880) tied W&M (292-287-301=880) for third, while Marshall won the tournament (284-284-295=863) by four strokes over Bowling Green.
ODU returns to action Aprili 27-29 at the Conference USA Championships in Edmund, OK.
