STOCKBRIDGE, GA-- ODU senior Gemma Fuster(74-72-77=223) finished 10th at the John Kirk/Panther Intercollegiate, just nine strokes behind the individual champion.
As a team, the Lady Monarchs finished the 54-hole event at 925 for ninth place.Campbell captured the team title with a 876, 15 strokes ahead of tournament host Georgia State’s 891.
Georgia State’s Maria Palacios tops Campbell’s Kaylin Yost and Georgia’s Amira Alexander with a birdie on the first hole to win the playoff.
Fellow Lady Monarch senior Kimberley Bradbury (77 72 81 230) tied for 25th, while senior Elizabeth Haycock ( 75-80-80=235) tied for 43rd.
The Lady Monarchs return to action April 5th and 6th at the UNC Wilmington Lady Seahawk Classic.
