PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL— Old Dominion University freshman golfers Thomas Henderson (Sterling, MA.) finished 52nd and fellow newcomer David Langley (Buckinghamshire, England) tied for 57th to lead the Monarchs at the Sea Best Golf Invitational at the TPC Sawgrass The Players Stadium.
Henderson finished the 54-hole event at 236, while Langley was four strokes back at 240. Henderson’s best round was the second where he fired a 75.
North Florida and Liberty tied for first at 886 while medalist honors were also shared by Austin Padova of North Florida and Greg Yates of Texas A&M. Both finished at 216. The Monarchs return to action, Feb. 17 and 18 in Houston, TX. at the Rice Intercollegiate.
