The Monarchs had four players in double-figures led by freshman Keenan Palmore (Stone Mountain, GA.) with 14.

In all, the two teams combined for 61-84 free throws. Threatt scored all 19 of his points from the line for Delaware. UD's forward Jamelle Hagins added 11 points with a game high 16 rebounds for his 10th double-double of the season and was one rebound shy of the Constant Center record 17 owned by Jason Thompson of Rider on March 18, 2008.

Senior forward DeShawn Painter (Norfolk, VA.) scored 13 points with eight rebounds, followed by freshman guard Deion Clark (Naples, FL.) with 13 points and senior Nick Wright (Suffolk, VA.) with 10 points and six rebounds.

Delaware shot .452 (19-42) from the floor and became the first team to outrebound ODU this year, 43-39. The Monarchs committed only 12 turnovers and came up with nine steals as they forced UD into 21 turnovers. ODU senior Donte Hill led with four steals on the day, while Delaware was led by Hagins with three.
