UPPER MARLBORO, Md. - Old Dominion University women's basketball fell to No. 7 Delaware in the quarterfinals of the CAA Tournament 74-54 Friday afternoon at the Show Place Arena.

ODU finishes the season at 11-21 while Delaware moves to 28-1 and advances to the CAA Tournament Semi's on Saturday.

With just under 12 minutes to play in the game, Ashley Betz-White hit a three-pointer for the Lady Monarchs to cut the lead to 58-45 but UD followed with a 10-0 run to push the lead to 68-45. ODU snapped the run on a three-pointer from Jackie Cook.

Delaware pushed its lead to 15 early in the second half but ODU cut the lead to 10 as Jackie Cook, Tia Lewis and JoNiquia Guilford all contributed to the run.

The Blue Hens countered the run with a 7-2 spurt to push their lead to 58-42 as Trumae Lucas and Delle Donne led UD during the run.

ODU got on the board first with a short jumper from JoNiquia Guilford but UD followed with a three-pointer from Delle Donne and five points from Carra to take a 9-4 lead.

Delaware pushed its lead to 11 but Mairi Buchan and Myeisha Hall made back-to-back baskets to cut the lead down to eight at 25-17.

The Blue Hens pushed the lead to 37-23 with three minutes to go in the half but ODU scored five-straight as Myeisha Hall hit a three and Jackie Cook hit a layup to make the score 37-29.

Delaware got a layup from Jocelyn Bailey in the final minute to make the halftime score 39-29.

Cook led ODU with 17 points while Myeisha Hall added 14 points and five assists.

Elena Delle Donne led four Blue Hens in double-figures with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Trumae Lucas followed with 14 points while Lauren Carra and Jocelyn Bailey added 12 apiece.

Notes
With two points, senior Tia Lewis passed Mery Andrade for 10th on the ODU all-time scoring list. Lewis finishes her outstanding career with 1,624 points. She also added six rebounds against Delaware to tie her for fifth on the all-time rebounding list with Celeste Hill. They are tied with 1,124 rebounds ... Cook finished the season with three-straight double-digit scoring efforts ... JoNiquia Guilford had two steals to finished with a team-best 51 for the year.
