Lewis Passes Goodson on All-Time Scoring List

NORFOLK, Va. - With 12 points on Thursday night against Northeastern, ODU senior Tia Lewis passed assistant coach Adrienne Goodson for 11th on the ODU all-time scoring list with 1,578 career points.

Lewis hit a jumper with 7:36 remaining in the second half to tie the score at 55 and push her ahead of Goodson on the scoring list.

A native of Poulan, Ga., Lewis has already passed 13 Lady Monarchs on the scoring charts this season, and is 44 points away from tying Mery Andrade for 10th on the list. She also had 10 rebounds against the Huskies to give her 1,099 for her career, 25 away from tying Celeste Hill for fifth in school history.

Lewis and the Lady Monarchs are back in action on Sunday when they travel to James Madison on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
