Beginning in the fall of 2012, ODUSports.com and Monarch Media will present a weekly Monarch Spotlight that gives fans a chance to learn more about their favorite student-athletes at Old Dominion.
This week's spotlight takes focus on men's basketball senior center, DeShawn Painter. In ODU's most recent game, Painter scored his career high in points against VCU. Painter transferred before this season from NC State.
