NORFOLK, Va. - Old Dominion University women's soccer returns home on Thursday to take on Georgia State at 7 p.m. at the ODU Soccer Stadium.
The Lady Monarchs return home after two-straight tough road setbacks at Towson and George Mason.
Amber Cook leads the Lady Monarchs offensively with four goals and an assist for a team-best nine points while Ashlee Coutu is second on the team with three goals and an assist for seven points.
Laura Bush and Brianna Alvarado have each appeared in seven games with Alvarado posting a 1.95 goals against average and 38 saves while Bush has a 2.28 GAA with 31 saves. Alvarado ranks sixth in the CAA and Bush 10th in saves.
Georgia State (3-7-1) has dropped four-straight, the last a 2-0 loss to Drexel.
The Panthers are led offensively by Whitney Ravan who has three goals and two assists on the year. Jewel Evans is second on the squad with a goal and two assists.
Rebecca Toler has appeared in eight games in goal posting a 1.69 GAA and 37 saves.
ODU hits the road again on Sunday, Oct. 7 when they travel to UNC Wilmington.
