Lady Monarchs Conclude Season After 12th Place Finish in ICSA National Semi-Final

AUSTIN, TEXAS - The Old Dominion University women's sailing team concluded the 2011-12 season after a 12th place finish at the 2012 Intercollegiate Sailing Association's (ICSA) Women's National Semi-Final on Lake Travis in Austin on Thursday.

Connecticut College won the semifinal race followed by College of Charleston, Brown, Rhode Island, Dartmouth, Harvard, Hawai'i, St. Mary's and Eckerd who all qualified for the Sperry Top-Sider Women's Finals.

Sophomore skipper Corina Radtke along with junior crew Shannon Wilkins and senior crew Jordan Stock finished in 12th place in the A-Division race with a score of 98 while freshman skipper Andrea Luna along with senior crew Arianna Baker and Jessica Milligan took 11th place in the B-Division race with a score of 86.

Old Dominion concludes their sailing season on June 6-8 in Autin, Texas in the ICSA/Gill Dinghy National Championship. Live media coverage of the regattas including results can be found at the Live Media link at 2012nationals.collegesailing.org.  The University of Texas will provide daily text and photo updates for each of the regattas.
