SOUTHPORT, NC-- The ODU Lady Monarchs are tied for third after 36 holes of theCAA Women's Golf Championships at the Reserve Club-St. James Plantation. ElizabethHaycock and Samantha Morrell are in the top ten.
ODU shot 314 today and are tied with Xavier for third with a 36 hole score of 613, eight strokes behind second round leader UNCW (605) and just one behind James Madison(612). The Seahawks fired 305 today.
Charlotte Lorentzen of Georgia State is the leader in the clubhouse with a 144 after shooting 69 today. ODU's Haycock is at 150 after shooting 78 today, six strokes back and tied with Kristen Tan of Xavier, Lori Beth Adams of UNCW andChristine Cash of Xavier.
Morrell, who was tied for the lead yesterday shot 80 today for a two-day score of151, seven strokes back. Two other Lady Monarchs are also in the top 20, Gemma Fuster is tied for 12th at 155 after shooting 76 today, and Kristen Hagan is 19that 157.
The final round is Sunday.
