NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion Football Monarchs were on hand for the annual Little Feet Meet held at Foreman Field at S.B. Ballard Stadium on Tuesday.
In what has become a very special tradition for Norfolk Public Schools' special needs community, students from kindergarten through 5th grade participated various events including a 50-meter dash, standing long jump, softball throw, hula hoop toss, football throw, golf putting, tee-ball hitting, tossing station, parachute activities, obstacle course, soccer kick, weightlifting, bean bag toss, fitness station, ladder ball, track events, hockey shot and races.The Monarchs joined with students from the Disabilities and Aging in Therapeutic Recreation course at ODU as well as volunteers from the campus community and other athletic teams as well.
