WALLACE, NC-- Sophomore Kimberley Bradbury fired 72 in the first round and is tied for sixth at the UNCW Seahawk Classic at the River Landing Course. She is just three strokes behind Amanda Steinhagen of Longwood who shot 69. As a team, ODUis in third place (294) only three strokes behind Longwood (291) and East Carolina(292).
Junior Samantha Morrell shot 73 and is tied for 10th, while senior Kristen Hagan is tied for 14th after shooting 74 and sophomore Elizabeth Haycock, the CAA Golfer of the Week is 17th with a 75. Morrell shot 34 on the back, while Bradbury shot 35 in the front.
Bad weather has delayed the finish of the second round.
