NORFOLK, Va. - The Old Dominion University coed sailing team came in ranked at No. 12 in this week's National College Rankings presented by Sperry Top-Sider.
ODU is getting set to host their annual Aaron Szambecki Team Race on the Elizabeth River this weekend as some of the nation's elite squads visit Norfolk. All eight of the teams competing in this weekend's race are currently ranked in the top-15 in the country as No. 2 Georgetown, No. 3 Roger Williams, No. 6 College of Charleston, No. 7 Stanford, No. 9 St. Mary's College (Md.), No. 10 Hobart and William Smith and No. 14 Navy all come town to compete.
Live scoring will be available throughout the weekend as sailing is set to begin on Saturday morning at 9 a.m.
