SERIES VS.DELAWARE
ODU leads, 14-6. The Monarchs defeated Delaware, 68-66 in overtime in Newark, De back on Jan. 11th.Kent Bazemore score 27 points, including nine in overtime as well as two free throws with two seconds Left to send the game into OT. Chris Cooper added 14 points and 10 rebounds. This would be the Second year in a row the two would have played in the CAA tournament. Last year, ODU won, 59-50.
SERIES VS. TOWSON
ODU leads, 26-1. The Monarchs defeated the Tigers, 75-38 in the Constant Center and 71-41 in Towson.In game one, Bazemore led with 14 points, five assists and Batten added 11 points. In game two Nick Wright scored 13 and Chris Cooper added 10. Towson's only win over the Monarchs came during the2001-02 season, 67-55 in the old ODU Fieldhouse. ODU has won 18 straight against the Tigers.

CAA TOURNAMENT TICKETS AND SOCIALSThe Monarchs are the No. 4 seed in this weekend CAA tournament at the Richmond Coliseum and will play the winner of Friday night's Delaware vs. Towson game on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Fans who have purchased CAA tournament books through the ODU box office may pick up their tickets through Thursday, March 1. Any remaining tickets not picked up will be available at the 6th street entrance at the Richmond Coliseum, 90 minutes prior to the session ODU is participating in. ODU will host fan socials 90 minutes prior to every session that ODU competes in, at the Richmond Convention center across from the Richmond Coliseum. Parties will be located in Rooms E-10, A B C and D along Marshall and 3rd street. A cash bar will be provided, along with light snacks and the opportunity to purchase ODU merchandise from the ODU Bookstore. Be sure to check out the Battle of the Bands on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at the Richmond Convention Center with the CAA member pep bands. This was a great event last year. The first 200 ODU students who come to the Coliseum 5th street entrance 60 minutes prior to the ODU game will be admitted free and seated in the floor end-zone seats
