KIAWAH ISLAND, SC-- Sophomore Elizabeth Haycock (Birmingham, England) fired a 72 today and is tied for 18th just seven strokes back of the lead after two rounds of the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate at Cougar Point. As a team, the Lady Monarchs are tied for fifth with a two-round score of 610.
Augusta State leads the 33-team event at 582, 17 strokes ahead of Elon. ODU is onlysix strokes back of third place Campbell and UNCG.
Haycock has a two round score of 150, followed by teammate Gemma Fuster (Barcelona, Spain) at 151. Kimberley Bradbury (Derbyshire, England) is 46th at 154 and Samantha Morrell (North Kingstown, RI.) is 54th at 155.
Erin Selfridge of Daytona State and Fanny Cnops of UNCG are tied for first at 143 one stroke bettery than Kristen Hill of Akron and Christine Duschek-Hansen of Augusta State.
The final round is Tuesday.
