KIAWAH ISLAND, SC-- The Lady Monarchs are tied for 14th after the first round of the Kiawah Island Intercollegiate at Cougar Point. ODU shot 315 and are tied withMorehead State and Mercer. One of the largest tournaments in the country with a field of 33 teams.
Leading the Lady Monarchs are Elizabeth Haycock and Gemma Fuster who both shot 78in the first round. Junior Samantha Morrell fired 79 and Kimberley Bradbury an 80.
Augusta State leads the event at 286, 17 strokes ahead of Elon. Natalie Willlieof Augusta State leads the individuals with a 69, followed by teammate Casey Kennedy one stroke behind with a 70.
