FAIRFAX, Va. -- Senior Kelsey Thompson (Chesapeake, Va.) kick started the Old Dominion women's swimming & diving team at the 2012 CAA Championships at the Jim McKay Natatorium on Wednesday evening with an eighth place performance on the 3 meter.
Thompson, who gave the Lady Monarchs 11 points and a third place standing after day one action, scored 238.50 points in the championship final.
Action continues tomorrow with the 200 freestyle relay, 500 freestyle, 200 individual medley, 50 freestyle, men's 1 meter diving, and 400 medley relay. Live results throughout the day will be available here.
