ODU leads the series, 54-34. ODU defeated the Dukes in Harrisonburg back on Jan. 2,67-61 in overtime. ODU has won six straight against the Dukes. JMU's last win inNorfolk was 2008-09 season, 70-62.

MONARCHS TO PLAY AT MISSOURI STATE IN THE SEARS BRACKETBUSTER GAME ON FEB. 18
The Monarchs will play the Missouri State University Bears on Feb. 18 in Springfield, MO in the 2012 Sears Bracketbusters. The Bears are members of the Missouri Valley Conference. This is the first ever meeting between the two schools. The game will be televised at 5 p.m ET on ESPNU. Missouri State has four players averaging double figures led by 6-6 senior forward Kyle Weems at 16.0 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. The 2011 MVC Player of the Year is shooting .402 from three-point range and .811 from the free throw line. As a team, the Bears are averaging 67.9 points and giving up 62.7. Head coach Paul Lusk is in his first year at MSU after serving the last three years as associate head coach at Purdue. The Bears average 7,124 at the 11,000 seat JQH Arena.
This will be the Monarchs seventh Bracketbuster's game and all will have been televised. ODU is 5-1.

The Monarchs will be one of three CAA teams selected for the 13 TV matchups. It's the fifth time in the past six years that at least three CAA teams were chosen for televised matchups in the event, which provides programs a chance to face top non-conference opponents about three weeks before Selection Sunday. The CAA has posted an impressive 16-10 record in televised games over the past seven years, including a 4-1 mark last season.

On Friday, Feb. 17, VCU (18-5) will host Northern Iowa (14-9) at 7 p.m. on ESPN2. On Saturday, Feb. 18, Drexel (17-5) visits Cleveland State (18-4) for an 11 a.m. game on ESPNU.

In other matchups involving CAA teams, George Mason hosts Lamar at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 18 in a game that will be televised on ESPN3. Also in action on Feb. 18, Delaware is at home versus Hampton, Georgia State entertains Texas-San Antonio, Hofstra hosts Siena, James Madison goes to Detroit, UNCW travels to Manhattan, Northeastern is at home against Stony Brook, Towson heads to New Hampshire and William & Mary visits in-state foe VMI.
